Map

In 2019 a previously unrecorded spigot mortar pedestal ('thimble') was noted by a member of the public at this location [1] and subsequently added to the 'Extended Defence of Britain Online' dataset (S1). The available photographs show this circular pedestal has an intact stainless steel pin and had originally been painted black. The main portion of the pedestal is fully exposed - indicating it is not in its original position.
