Map

July 1977. Visit.
Icehouse. This has collapsed, leaving only a pit.
E. Rose (NAU), 13 July 1977.

However J. Goldsmith (NCM) corrects this, saying icehouse still remains though well hidden, 'conventional domed type'. Perhaps Ordnance Survey map marking is not exact.
E. Rose (NAU), 11 December 1987.

June 1992. Visit.
Seen by J.Bown (NAU). Has brick domed chamber approached by straight tunnel which emerges above floor of chamber - how far above, not possible to say as it is filled with old bottles.
E. Rose (NLA), 25 June 1992.

Description (S1) by J. Bown (NAU) in file.
