Summary

Listed 18th-century flint and brick walls extending from Berry Hall (NHER 68962). These include a particularly tall section extending from the south-west corner of the hall that has many blocked openings and had probably once been part of a house.

Listing Name:
About 40m of wall extending westwards and about 45m of wall extending southwards from south-west corner of Berry Hall. About 55m of wall extending eastwards and southwards from south-east corner of Berry Hall.
Listing Description excerpt:
"Wall west from south-west corner: flint with brick, has many blocked openings; approximately 15 ft [4.6m] high; probably once part of house. Wall south from south-west corner: flint base, red brick above; approximately 8 ft [2.4m] high; probably 18th century. Wall south from south-east corner: flint with red brick dressings; approximately 10 ft [3.0m] high. 18th century."
