Summary

Metal-detecting at this location in 2022 recovered a scattered hoard of Late Iron Age silver coins. These had potentially been buried during the upheaval caused by the Boudiccan revolt of AD 60/61.

Found spread over a small area:
23 Late Iron Age coins. These coin are all East Anglian British Iron Age (Icenian) silver demoninations and represent a dispersed hoard. Like other hoards of the Late Iron Age they are dominated by Late Face-horse and Pattern-horse type. It is likely that the hoard was buried in the post-Conquest period, potentially around the time of the the Boudiccan revolt of AD 60/61.
