Summary

At some time between 2017 and 2018 a World War Two era bullet was recovered from a mixed load of dredged aggregate that included material from East Coast Dredging Region Licence Area 513/2.

This record details poorly-located objects recovered as a result of off-shore dredging that were potentially derived from Aggregates Extraction Licence Area 513/2. These discoveries were reported to English Heritage/English Heritage through the Marine Aggregate Industry Protocol for Reporting Finds of Archaeological Interest. See (S1) and (S2) for further information on the Protocol and NHER 69599 for details of objects definitely recovered within Licence Area 513/2.

2017-2018 (exact date unknown). Off-shore Dredging.
Found at Dagenham Wharf amongst material from this location and Licence Area 458 (East English Channel Region):
1 World War Two brass bullet. Most likely a 0.5" round from a Vickers gun (which was used primarily as an anti-aircraft weapon on Royal Navy and allied ships).
