A memorial was to be installed to commemorate the lives of 10 airmen who were killed in a crash in Carr's Wood. See NHER 67822 for further details.

25 September 1996. Observation of groundworks for extension on north side of nave showed that massive dumping had raised the ground level in post medieval times.
A possible Early Saxon sherd, and animal bone and flints probably debitage from wall construction were recovered from a layer below the dumping.
