Full Description
August 1951. East of Scole House in construction of filter tanks for sewerage.
Roman cobbled flooring, at least 50' (15m) square found around 2' (0.6m) below modern surface with pottery and animal bones on it.
To northeast was structure of burnt clay (?oven).
Dupondius of Faustina I, Dupondius of Claudis I.

B. Brown interpreted part of the cobbling as a road 18 yds (16.5m) wide but I could not see this on site
