Map

1975. 'Found in building telephone exchange' in thin chalk layer: floor?
Twisted handle from 14th century green glazed jug.
Similar to Grimston and Potter Heigham ware.

However findspot as marked is considerably west of telephone exchange which has been on its present site since about 1950.
Is grid ref or date or both wrong, or was this in fact found in laying new cables to the exchange?
E. Rose (NAU) 15 November 1975.
