Summary

The site of medieval Hellesdon Hall. Parts of the flint and mortar foundations were uncovered during works in the 1950s. An Iron Age gold coin was found in the area in 1862.

Monitoring of groundworks adjacent to the location of the medieval hall. Excavations were shallow and no archaeological features were identified.
