Full Description
October 1972. Stray Find.
Found in hedge bank while houses being demolished:
1 Mesolithic flint tranchet axe. See sketch (S1). Information from (S2). This discovery was first reported in (S3) and is also listed in (S4). According to (S4) it was donated to the Norwich Castle museum, although this would appear to be an error, as there is no record of this.
