Summary

This 13th century church was demolished in the early 19th century, and rebuilt with the shell of a round west tower, which fell down in 1899. The whole church was again rebuilt in 1931, using some old material. The building as it stands now consists of the stump of the round west tower (used as a baptistry), a nave and chancel in one and a south porch. Inside, the medieval font survives, and there is a framed inscribed lead sheet relating to the 19th century rebuild.

Originally, this was a 13th century church, but was demolished in the early 19th century, and rebuilt with the shell of a round west tower, which fell down in 1899. The whole church was again rebuilt in 1931, using some old material. The building as it stands now consists of the stump of the round west tower (used as a baptistry), a nave and chancel in one and a south porch. Inside, the medieval font survives, and there is a framed inscribed lead sheet relating to the 19th century rebuild. The churchyard has old gravestones and a heavy obelisk commemorating William Norfor, who died in 1851.
