Undated soilmarks of linear features and a possible pit or pond visible on 1972 Ordnance Survey aerial photographs (S2). It is not completely certain that these features are of archaeological origin. The grid reference previously recorded for the above site (TG3501 2620) is not quite central to the soilmarks and has been replaced with TG3503 2622. The main element is an L shaped ditch which extends between TG 3502 2619 and TG 3505 2624. This feature forms a right angle with both sections measuring about 40m in length. Its is flanked on its western side by a soilmark of a possible bank. Central to the group, at TG 3503 2622 is an irregular shaped feature, possibly a pit or pond. Two parallel northwest to southeast aligned ditches, centred on TG 3501 2622, form the western side of the group of features. The soilmarks do not form a complete rectangle, although their position adjacent to the modern field boundary gives this impression. The function and date of these features is unclear, and if they are archaeological they are perhaps most likely to be medieval or post medieval origin. (S2)
