Full Description
A medieval parish church, dating from the 14th and 15th centuries, with a remarkable mid 15th century screen with paintings of saints and kings, and good examples of 18th century memorials.

Decorated, altered in Perpendicular. Good 18th century memorials.
See (S1) for the complete listing details.
E. Rose (NAU)
For details of the bell of 1672 brought from Snetterton see NHER 9067.
This is one of the sixty five Norfolk churches selected for (S2).
D. Gurney (NLA), 17 February 2006.
June 2017. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of groundworks associated with installation of new drain and soakaway in churchyard.
This work revealed a single shallow pit containing mortar, flint and brick building rubble. This pit could be seen to cut through the topsoil and was therefore almost certainly a modern feature.
No finds were recovered.
See report (S3) for further details.
P. Watkins (HES), 15 November 2018.
