Full Description
Grid reference marginal but between 3500 2470 and 3570 2428. (E. Rose, NAU).
November 1927.
Dredged from River Ant below Wayford Bridge and 1.5m (5ft) down in peat. Part of a dug-out canoe, now 3.6m (12ft) long. Rows of drilled holes suggest post Roman.
