Full Description
1976. Soilmark.
Long rectangular enclosure.
See (S1).
Seen by A.K. Gregory (NAU).
E. Rose (NAU).
May 2005. Norfolk NMP.
Two linear ditches aligned approximately north-to-south, are visible as soilmarks and/or cropmarks on aerial photographs (e.g. S1). These have been interpreted as part of an enclosure (see above), but they correspond to field boundaries depicted on an historic Ordnance Survey map (S2) and consequently have not been mapped by the NMP. The easternmost ditch was partially excavated as part of NHER 34026 (S3, Site 8E).
S. Tremlett (NMP), 26 May 2005.
