Summary

In 1965 a Mesolithic flint artefact (possibly a scraper) was found here during the laying of drains. Metal-detecting in 2019 recovered an Early Iron Age pin.

1965. Stray Find. [1].
Found at a depth of about 3-6ft [0.9m to 1.8m] while laying drains (about 550yds [500m] west of St Peter and St Paul's Church):
1 Mesolithic flint scraper, made on naturally fractured flint.
Donated to Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1965.120). Information from (S1).
Although recorded by the NCM as Mesolithic this find is not listed in (S2).
