Summary
In 1960 a farmer reported seeing brick and flint foundations during ploughing at this location. The date of the building they came from is uncertain, although post medieval pottery and jettons/tokens have been found on the site.

Full Description
April 1960. Burgh Common.
Rectangular foundation of brick and flints about 4.5m x 4.5m (15ft x 15ft) revealed during first ploughing of pasture.
16th to 17th century pottery, fragment of quern, animal bones found.

Owner reports no obstruction met in this area while ploughing, and says that jettons/tokens have been found in this area.
