Full Description
1934. West of Hangings Plantation 15 to 30m (50 to 100 feet) OD.
Flint mine industry - ploughed out? flint pit.
1934. Found opposite Great Melton site by [1].
Polished axes rechipped. Exhibited at the Proceedings of the Prehistoric Society of East Anglia on 6 December 1934.
From same site 'field west of plantation'. Marked as Cissbury site by W. G. Clarke.
Also brown scraper and scraper and knives.
H. H. Hall's site 29.
[2] had barbed and tanged flint arrowheads, leaf shaped arrowheads, discoidal polished knife 7cm (2 3/4 inches) long (seen by R. R. Clarke in 1936) and end of chipped polished knife.
