Summary

In 1968 and 1978 a number of prehistoric worked flints were found at this location. These included a Neolithic flaked axehead, a Neolithic flake, undatable prehistoric scrapers and a possible pot boiler. Metal-detecting between 1992 and 2020 recovered a Roman pottery sherd; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a medieval buckle and a post-medieval silver buckle.

1968. Found on ploughed surface. [1].
Chipped flint axe, drawn (S1).
Trimmed flake and ?pot boiler.

Three scrapers found.

January 1992-December 2019. Metal-detecting. Site extended to the whole field. [3].
1 Roman coin and 1 pottery sherd.
