Full Description
1951.
Chipped flint axe found about here, grey.
1975.
Flint blades and 2 waste flakes found by A. K. Gregory (NAU).
Reported in (S3) and has been noted on (S4).
September 1978. Found with metal detector in ploughed soil.
Silver penny of Edward the Confessor, expanding Cross type, heavy coinage, AD 1050-3. North I 823, Spraclinc at London.
Also four silver coins:
short cross cut 1/2d, Class I, Henry II, Hugo at Lincoln or Northampton, AD 1180-89;
short cross 1d, class 5, John, Roger at Canterbury AD 1205-8;
long cross cut 1/2d, class 5 Henry II, AD 1251-1272;
long cross penny, class XV, Edward III, Canterbury mint AD 1307-27.
