1956-7. Cropmarks on St Joseph aerial photographs.

These marks include a ring ditch which is not visible on ground.

A possible ring ditch, field system and linear ditch features are visible on aerial photographs (S1) and have been mapped from a less than perfect rectification.
The features are centred on TG 1795 0832. The possible ring ditch is centred on TG 1797 0824 and measures 9.5m in external diameter. Two parallel linear ditches c. 25m apart are visible on a northwest-southeast alignment, parallel to a drainage ditch visible on the Ordnance survey 2nd edition (S3), indicating that they may be post medieval in date.
