Summary
In 1930 a Roman cremation urn was found in a garden. It was placed in the ground upside down and contained cremated bones. Pottery sherds and oyster shells, possibly Roman in date, were found at the same time in a field to the west.

Full Description
1930. From the garden of Kent House, Keswick Road (third house east of Cantley Lane, near the School).
Greyware jar containing cremated bones, found inverted.
Sherds (possibly Roman) and oyster shell found at same time on field to west.
