Full Description
Moat.
North side gone; interior totally overgrown, known as the Roundabout.
Other ditches dry, deep, irregular on east; well embanked on interior.
Visited E. Rose (NAU) 9 November 1978.
Dairy Farm adjacent to north is Old Hall Farm on (S1).
E. Rose (NAU)
It measures overall 54.0m east to west by 52.0m transversely and the seasonally waterfilled arms attain a maximum depth of 1.5m.
R. J. Rickett (NAU) 13 July 1990.
March 2011. Norfolk NMP.
The moat described above is visible on aerial photographs (S2-S3) indistinctly through the tree cover. Unfortunately it was not clear enough to map, and was certainly no clearer than the outline depicted on the Ordnance Survey mapping.
E. Bales (NMP), 29 March 2011.
