Full Description
July 1953. River Yare. Grubbed by dredger from grey mud deep in bed of River Yare near Postwick Grove.
Axe hammer of igneous rock probably Dolerite. Found with part of haft bound by leather thongs but this disintegrated on exposure to air. Cylindrical bore hole.
