Full Description
December 1906.
Hoard of five chipped flint axeheads found in garden of Crown Point Hall. [1]. See sketches (S1).
Now held by Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1953.13).
All references inaccurately place findspot in Whitlingham.
Compiled by T. Clough (NAU).
These objects are listed, incorrectly, as Palaeolithic handaxes by (S10). The grid reference and brief description given both suggest these are the same objects as those mentioned in the other sources.
