Summary

Aerial photography from 1996 noted the presence of a parchmark of a linear feature visible on this site. It was rectangular in shape, and corresponded to a previously identified mound in this area. This feature was intially identified as a possible Roman road, but with the discovery in 1968 of daub and pottery sherds it is possible that this is the site of a Roman period building.
