Various objects found during the late 19th century and early 20th century in the Stoke Holy Cross area, but with no additional information regarding provenance:

Mesolithic "surface flints" from Stoke Holy Cross are held by the British Museum. Identified by E. Rose (NAU)? Information from (S1).

According to (S2) a map in the records of W. G. Clarke (S3) marks Stoke Holy Cross as a location that had produced Neolithic worked flints of "Boulder Clay Type". This may be a reference to a number of flints found by W. G. Clarke in Stoke Holy Cross that are now held by the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1926.32.54).
Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 28 March 2014.
