Summary

In 1972 a medieval silver brooch or buckle was recovered from this area, and in 1992 three Roman pottery sherds were also found.

1972. Silver brooch/buckle found on harrowed ground (marshy) west of River Tas, just north of Bottom End Farm.
Identified as medieval by British Museum.

1992. Stray Find.
In spoilheap derived from topsoil stripping for the Yelverton to East Carleton Gas Pipeline:
3 Roman pottery sherds (two base, one body)
