Full Description
Various Iron Age Age and Roman objects known to have been recovered at Caistor St Edmund during the 19th and 20th centuries, but with no additional information regarding provenance. It is however likely that many of these finds were recovered within or near the Roman town of Venta Icenorum (NHER 9786). Poorly provenanced finds from Caistor that are known to have been recovered in the immediate vicinity of Venta are recorded separately under NHER 9826.

From Caistor (near Norwich):
1 "Late Celtic"..."bronze fibula". This object is amongst those listed in (S1) but no additional information is given. ?Romano Celtic and therefore Roman date?. Information from (S2).
