Full Description
1965. Stray Find.
Found at [1], in dredgings from River Tas.
Late 1st to 2nd century greyware, Samian, red and colourcoated ware. Samian sherd decorated in glass technique, form of vessel apparently like (S1) and decoration as (S2) (Rheinzabern). Probably 2nd century. Glass fragments.

Found on east bank of River Tas at [3] (probably originally dredgings):
1 Roman coin and 8 pottery sherds (including mortarium, Samian and greyware).
1 ?Roman lead weight.
