Numerous medieval glazed and plain tiles have been collected during excavations and from the surface of the site, along with large quantites of medieval pottery and kiln waste. The tiles from the site have become known as 'Bawsey tiles'. Roman and Late Saxon pottery sherds and a prehistoric flint flake have also been recovered.
