'A tumulus in Anmer Park produced a fine Roman urn, bones and ashes'. See (S1).
As the Park is now larger rather than smaller than it previously was, it is improbable that either of the two barrows east of the village is meant: in any case (S1) also refers to 'many Roman remains from the tumuli on Anmer Heath' as separate sites (NHER 3476, NHER 3518, NHER 3519, NHER 3520).
