Full Description
1958. Stray Find.
Found while drilling:
Bronze Age copper alloy socketed axehead.
This object was brought in to the King's Lynn Museum by [1] on behalf of a friend. It was subsequently acquired by the museum (KILLM : 1958.11.69), where it is recorded as having been found "at Poplar Cottages".

Formerly wrongly marked on TF 70 SW at 703 035.
Is this the same as "socketed axe found half way to Boughton" by [2] "of Beachamwell" written on KLM 6 inch map, just south of Barton Bendish village?
