Map

Wherry barn.
Visited E. Rose (NAU) 16 May 1979.

Early 19th century barn built in form of an arch over a dyke to enable wherries to pass underneath. Upper storey above arch, which is high enough to allow wherries to pass with lowered masts, but building is surprisingly small otherwise.
Presumably served Grove House, but was it more of a folly?
Now restored and used as holiday cottages called Wherry Arch.
