Map

3 October 1979. Visit.
Visited by E. Rose. Stepped gable to east seems early 17th century and some windows retain at least the shape of contemporary 'long and low' windows; but virtually the whole exterior, including the hoodmoulds and the other stepped gables, is 19th century. Owners say it is locally believed to be a pilgrims hostel for Massingham (sic) Priory.
