Brick, octagonal, chamfered concrete loopholes.

A World War Two hexagonal pillbox and weapons pit are visible on aerial photographs (S2 to 5). The grid reference for this pillbox has been adjusted from TG 3444 3378 to TG 3445 3374. It appears to be under construction on 16 August 1940 aerial photographs (S2) and is still extant (S5). A weapons pit is visible 20m to the east of the pillbox on the opposite side of the road on 1940 and 1941 aerial photographs (S2 to 4).
