Full Description
5 August 1977. NAU Air Photography.
Cropmarks.
Vestigial cropmarks of three ring ditches.
D. Edwards (NAU), 19 March 1981.
9 January 1989. Visited by J. Wymer and D. Edwards (NAU).
Two found to be visible mounds.
Context 1. 46m diameter, 0.80m height.
At highest point of field, double concentric ring on air photograph.
Context 2.
32m diameter, 0.50m height, also double concentric.
Context 3 has no surface expression.
All on gravelly arable field.
Finds.
Prehistoric flint. One core, eight flakes on Context 2 only.

Site of visible barrow under pasture, cut for hay. Area surrounded by low Ikora trees forming a small circular thicket. One small tree on summit.

Context 2 survives as low mound 40cm to 50cm tall.
Context 3 survives as low mound about 20cm tall.
