Summary

An 18th and 19th century house, with elements of 17th century date. It is two storeys tall, built of red brick with some timber framing and has a lobby entrance and a thatched roof. A fireplace beam has the date 1670 on it.

Red brick, two storeys, irregular south façade.
Mostly now 18th/19th century brick but patches of older work, and blocked small upper closet? Windows, indicate possible 17th century origin.

1987.
This is apparently the same as house listed Grade II 1986 (S1) as Nutmeg Cottage. Stated to have timber frame visible above flint plinth at rear. Thatched. Lobby entrance. Brickwork of façade partly Flemish bond with black headers. Gable and axial stack.
On interior, fireplace bressumer (a horizontal beam) dated 1670. Spine beam jewel stopped.
