Full Description
Winter 1983-4. In 'Wereham/Boughton area'.
Circumstances and place of discovery unknown, but presumed metal-detector find.
Large number of Iceni silver coins in a pot, plus three things described as 'like circular brooches with flat ends and a pin across the back' from this description they could be something like horse gear. Two about 5cm (2 inches) in diameter, made of twisted gold and silver wires, one 2.5 to 3.75cm (1 to 1 1/2 inches) diameter of gold.
