Full Description
1986-87. Metal detecting. On arable.
Copper alloy decorative mount, small iron rivet through centre, pointed equal-armed cross with fine blue and red enamel decoration. Roughly circular projection halfway down each arm of the cross, decorated with small circles of red enamel, each pair supporting a small square containing a cross in enamel (colour not discernable) in a field of white. One arm of cross bent forward as if prised off something. Possibly from a cross or reliquary.
