Summary

Metal detecting in 1987 and 2004 recovered a Late Saxon Ringerike style copper alloy brooch in the form of a bird with tendril on its beak, as well as an Iron Age coin, a possible Roman ring, a Middle or Late Saxon strap end and a medieval casket fitting.

Copper alloy brooch in form of bird, with tendril on beak. Ringerike style, 11th century.
Now in NCM (NWHCM: 1990.52).
