Summary
An iron sword and spears 'of great length' were found in a log canoe near Horsey before 1851. It has been suggested that these are Early Saxon in date. The exact nature of discovery and location of these finds are unclear.

Pre 1851.
Iron sword, suggested as Early Saxon, found with iron spears of great length 53cm (21 inches) in a log canoe near Horsey.
