Summary
A Roman mosaic was excavated and covered back up again during works at the caravan site during the 1960s. The mosaic may have been on the site of the toilet block.

1960s or thereabouts.
Revealed by uncle of source during works on caravan site north of Cross Lane.
Roman mosaic, revealed and backfilled.

September 2005.
Local sources suggest that the mosaic might be on the site of the toilet block.
