Summary
A hoard of Roman coins was found here in 1910. In the 1960s an incomplete Neolithic polished flint axe was found on the surface during agricultural work.

Full Description
1910. Find.
A Roman coin hoard was found. Informant stated that this hoard is well known in local folklore, and has led to the footpath entering the field from the south being called the Roman road.
