Summary

A scatter of prehistoric burnt flints was recorded. Neolithic worked flints including twenty nine flint flakes, a backed blade and a burin were found. Twenty eight pieces of Iron Age pottery were also recovered. The site has been interpreted as a Neolithic flint working site and prehistoric burnt mound. The large number of Iron Age pottery fragments found suggests this was an area of iron Age settlement.
