Full Description
Quite rare, type WIA World War One pill box on south side of lane leading to church. Very good condition, date 1916/18.

A circular World War One pillbox is visible on 1946 RAF aerial photographs (S2). On some later aerial photographs it is covered by vegetation and is not clearly visible.
