Summary

A Bronze Age round barrow survives as an earthwork alongside the Peddar's Way at this location. It lies partly within a field and partly outside. The part within the field is lower than that outside, as a result of ploughing. A Neolithic flint flake, along with Beaker and Roman pottery sherds, have been found on and near the barrow.
