Summary

Metal detecting between 1999 and 2015 recovered Roman and medieval coins and a range of other, undated and Bronze Age to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include an undated unidentified copper alloy object; a Bronze Age socketed axehead; a Roman brooch and finger ring; an Early Saxon sleeve clasp; a Late Saxon brooch; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories (including a medieval gold finger ring); medieval harness fittings and pendants, unidentified objects, a key, purse fragment, cauldron fragment and copper alloy and lead seal matrices; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragments and a post-medieval harness fitting, bell, furniture fitting, knife fragment, mount, spur, toy handgun and lead weight.
