Map

January 2001. NMP.
Ridge and furrow is visible as an earthwork at TF 697 435 and TF 697 434 on the 1944 aerial photographs (S1). It is fairly narrow and regular suggesting a post medieval date. This feature can also be seen on 1971 aerial photographs (S2).
A. Hunt (NMP), 22 January 2001.

August 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Second possible area of remnant earthwork ridge and furrow visible on 1958 RAF aerial photographs (S3) and Hunting Survey photographs from 1969 (S4), centred on TF 6989 4350.
It measures approximately 155m by 75m. Alongside this are several ditches. Running almost directly north to south is a stretch of bank, which is now split into three sections, cut by (26724). This runs from TF 6980 4340 to TF 6980 4353. It varies from 2-3m in width. This section of bank joins another, perpendicular to it, to the north. This is 45m long. Both these stretches of bank are on the 2nd edition map (1902 to 1907, 25 inch) (S5). These features are all likely to be medieval to post medieval in date.
S. Massey (NMP), 29 August 2002.

October 2011.
Google Earth imagery suggests that this feature has been, at least in part, ploughed level.
K. Powell (HES), 14 October 2011.
