Full Description
Before 31 January 2002. Surface finds.
Basal sherd of late medieval unglazed pottery with piecrust frilling to the edge, showing flat base profile. There are four 'frills', running entire length of the sherd, showing the fingerprint marks clearly. The profile of the base is quite flat. Found at TM 269 899. Body sherd of green-glazed medieval pottery, possibly Grimston. With applied surface decoration of a thin strip which has has transverse grooving cut into it along its length. Fabric quite sandy. Found at TM 268 899.
